I propose that in the future we make it standard practice to keep election results hidden until the voting period is over.
-
I concur. :)
Also, should we permit people to switch their vote whilst the poll is in operation? We have the ability to do that and if we're writing a bill clarification on that might be good too. (So say it's 7 days starting Mon: I vote on Monday, then on Wednesday decided I'd rather abstain from voting for Spatharios or whatever, I could do so, such that votes are only definitely finalised when the poll ends).
-
Yeah that sounds okay.
-
I agree, sounds awesome!
-
I agree that both changing your vote throughout voting period and keeping the voting secret are good ideas.
And certainly keep it secret if votes can be changed.
-
That's exactly what I said but in a lot more words. :P
-
Do I need to write this as a bill, or can someone else have a go? :P
On that note, should I write a "how to write motions" guide?
-
I can write the guide.
How to Write Motions
by comrade_general
Okay, just put what you want to motion in asterisks, like so: *waves hello*.
And that's it.
In all seriousness isn't it the Seb's job to write bills?
-
I'm pretty sure anybody can write a motion, maybe it's the Seb's job to actually implement it if one passes?
-
Othko is correct here. It's the Seb's job to implement bills and help people who want to write them; it would also be expected that if the Seb has a personal or party manifesto they write the necessary bills to do the things they said they'd do. :)

Belatedly moved to vote.
