In which you have to tell us interesting words that are local or dialect ones from your area or general unusual words/terms you know.

Okay...

In Lincolnshire, in eastern England, the term "Far Welted" originates. It refers to a sheep in the state of being flat on its back and unable to get up again.  :P
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Uh, let's get some latino here!

"Huevón/Weon", literally meaning "big egged" or something like that. You might think you know what it's used for, but it's used so extensively in Chile that it has morphed into several different forms: as a verb ("wear"), as a friend ("weon"), as a thing ("wea"). And to think it started as a hardcore insult.

All I can think of is that in my hometown of Nottingham (and most of the West Midlands), everybody is a duck.

At least, everybody calls everybody "Duck".

Most notably in the phrase "Ey up mi duck."

Um we don't have a hell of a lot, and quite a few might be around elsewhere too but:

Carked it: Dead.
Had it: Dead.
On the fritz: Dead. This one can also mean dying.
Kicked the bucket: Dead.
Sold the farm: Dead.
Owned: The equivalent of "In your face!"
And recently,
BURN IN MUFFIN HELL!: The greatest insult.
and BITE THE WAX TADPOLE!: The second greatest insult.
