I think this is not philosophical at all, and quite tangible.

I am currently biding my time with wins until you slip up and reveal further clues. Perhaps I could have a think about what you have said in the past, and this could give me some hints as well... hm...

Win!

I shall leave you to your thinking; meanwhile: I win!

That was quite a treat. I suppose you were off doing nothing secret at all.

Of course, of course. I mean I could have been conducting a vital clandestine mission for ISORE (the International Society of Riddles, Enigmas and Conundrums), but you wouldn't expect me to tell you that, would you?

I certainly wouldn't! Did you succeed in the mission that you could have been conducting?

Was the mission to do a win?

Since the mission was purely hypothetical, it's a bit hard to say whether it succeeded or not.

And no, it wasn't a mission to do a win, since that's not secret at all. For example: I win!

So you do. I'm glad we're all keeping in practice with this vital skill.

Isn't there normally a "steady... go!" in there too?

Anyway. moving on: I win!

Probably could have been a "steady, go" - were it a race. But I don't think it would have worked especially well in a forum environment.

For example:

Ready, steady, go: win!

Or, ready, steady go:
