Its fine, but do put it in spoiler tags - go back and edit the posts and put the spoiler tags round all the text, makes the thread less ridiculous to scroll through :)

As a courtesy to kwaaieke and other readers, I've added the spoiler tags myself. It's probably not obvious to new members that they have to go around the text in the post, nor that they are added using the button with the "radioactive" symbol (circle divided into six segments, alternately yellow and black).

I've also rebuilt the file from kwaaieke's posts. I attempted to attach it, using the "Attachments and other options" feature below the main posting window. However, it's 169kB and the stated maximum size for an individual attachment is 128kB, so I've had to split the file and attach the sections.

Can you find the relevant EDU (export_descr_unit.txt) section and post that?

Found the problem (I think)! :D

OK, it's not the rider, it's the horse.

Go into DMB, find the entry for "horse_light".

You'll notice that on the "gauls" line it has "WHTW/whtw/data" whereas all the others have just "whtw/data". Fix that and they should work. :)

i did the fix, and it still crashes when i try to enter battle, i even tried to look for light_horse but there seems to be no problem there

Can you get chaos battles working with other units? Is it definitely just the horsemen that are causing you the problem?

I just entered battle as chaos, and there were 0 marauder horsemenn, and the game still crashed, i think is maybe has something to do with the general, as i have fought chaos "brigands" with no issues. Units i don't know if caused the crash include Marauders and Chaos Warrios

I'm sorry: we may not be able to do much about this for a couple of weeks. Jubal is on holiday until 10 August, and he might be the only person who understand the mod well enough to help.

In the meantime, it would probably help him if you could try out the various different units, first one by one on their own, and then perhaps in all the combinations, so that we can see exactly which units or combinations cause the crashes.
