X-Men
« on: October 28, 2014, 12:21:42 PM »
Just saw Days of Future Past, got to say that it was by far the best X-Men film. The scene with Pietro was a bit rubbish but the rest of the film was exceptional. 10/10 would watch again. Plus it retconned all the stupid ass mistakes they made in the first few x-men movies which I both loved and hated in equal measure.
Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the Comedian is the only thing that makes sense.

So far it's the only X-Men film I've seen. :P

It just was typical of super hero movies where someone gets a new power because the director wanted to do something cool. He lifted up a hefty looking cop like he was nothing and touched super hot bullets mid air without any ill effects. Granted it did look spectacular and was actually awesome otherwise and further cemented the character as a trickster rather than an actual anti-hero/villain but it just irked me.

Saw Apocalypse it was a lot better than I suspected but I expected it to be so, so bad.
