Good, but it'd be better if the text occupied more of the picture. Also, could the text stay in the font we have now? The Olde font would only really owrk with an olde/parchment site theme, which I've kept away from on the grounds everyone else has them.

Haven't been able to find Copperplate Gothic Bold, so I used Copperplate Gothic Standard instead. It looks a little skinny, but tell me what you think anyway:

Good, but the M&B bit is practically invisible.

To be honest, I'm getting unsure we even need a new banner now, as everyone is quite used to the old one. We could do with more sig banners of course anyway, so nobody's efforts will have been in vain, but the current banner has become quite iconic IMO. Could someone edit the old one so it fits the background and see how that looks?

What are people's current thoughts on the matter?

If Clark still has the source file for the old banner, then I could happily make it fit. Otherwise, It'll be an awkward job, mainly because of the faded edges.

I made a new logo because I was bored.

Here are two versions with two different fonts, I can use a different font if desired (if this will be used of course).

edit: and another one with faded edges.
