I'm still never sure if I count as an indie dev, given I don't even try and make any money from it and people only play my games when I harangue them to.  :P

But yes, I do like puzzle/adventure type games :)

That reminds me: I presume I'll need to finally cave and get Steam* to play this?

* Yes, I still don't have Steam. Yes, that's a bit technologically backward. I'm from Norfolk, the industrial revolution never really happened to us, we Google things by sending a carrier pigeon off and a nice man in a cart delivers our results a week later.

I just got back from PAX South and wanted to share:

PAX South 2016 & San Antonio Impressions from an Exhibiting Indie Game Dev

Last week I flew to San Antonio, Texas to exhibit Karaski at PAX South! It was an exhausting blast. Here’s my experience.

Wrong side of the pond for me I'm afraid!

The guy with the dead wife comment must have thrown you though rather - how did you respond to that?

Oh, and well done on the award, good job!  :)

I decided to spend my Valentine’s making a little gift for all of our fans and supporters, creating a small promotional browser game with HTML5. I really hoped to showcase deep dialogue, complex gameplay and multiple solutions to problems that are such a defining feature of our game. So without further ado, here is Flappy Karaski!

I can't get beyond about 50. Never, never put me in charge of an airship! :P

It has finally happened. At long, long last.

The waiting is over.

...I have actually caved in and obtained Steam. First and only game on it so far: Karaski  :)

And now I need to go to bed and don't have time to play it, but ah well!

I'm not really anticipating using it much except for a couple of indie games, tbh. Though I may eat my words there...
