Exilian goes WYSIWYG!
« on: November 20, 2015, 10:44:18 PM »
Hello folks!

This is just to announce that we're planning to work on a rolling programme of testing out changes and improvements to Exilian's forum interface over the next few weeks, hopefully making the site more user-friendly, adding additional helpful functionality, and making the interface easier to use with the functionality already available.

The first major change you'll notice is that posting is now done with a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor as standard. You can toggle back to the old BBCode editing system at any time with the toggle view button (a cursor between red brackets, on the far left of the post writing/editing toolbar). You can also change your default setting by going to your profile -> Modify Profile -> Look and Layout and deselecting the "Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default." box.

Hope this helps, and keep an eye out for more new features that will hopefully be popping up soon. If you have any ideas for what else we can do with the look and layout, comment them on this post or start a new thread in Q&S!

Thanks,

Jubal (Megadux)

Is this some perverse plot to spread the Welsh language and culture? If so, you disgust me sir.
