Yeah, holiday is basically not going to happen for me this summer except maybe the odd weekend.

Such is life. Hopefully I'll actually get funding for this placement though so I can afford to holiday a bit when I have the time instead of having working holiday. Life should still be decent, especially if the weather keeps it up.

Good good I'm thinking I might take some time off in October, but will depend on my general living situation then etc.

Well, I am basically going to spend the next two weeks pumping tea into myself at an excessive rate and crying over incomprehensible blocks of ancient Greek that I'm theoretically meant to know how to read Not even confident of scraping a 2.i at present.

I'm spending a lot of time looking at words and then looking up what they mean. Sometimes unsuccessfully, which is annoying.

I'm doing my best, but yes, we need more chatter!

I've got a Greek exam, a conference, and a house hunt coming up in the very near future, and a lot of Exilian stuff to do, so I'm a bit stressed/swamped at the moment honestly.

I'm neck deep in work.
But I'll be more active next week when I get some free time.

I guess we've all got similar problems right now...

My lazy old house just sits there all day long doing nothing at all.

My house lease is shared with some undergraduates, so it's a one year lease that ends at the end of June. After that I ideally need to find somewhere that I can rent myself on a more flexible lease.

And so another day on the rails in Europe begins. This one should be fun: three national capitals in one day. I'm starting in Vienna, I'll be in Budapest at lunchtime, and I'm staying in Zagreb tonight.
