Balthazar's Dream - a puzzle platformer set in a dog's dream
« on: November 29, 2016, 12:31:54 PM »

Hello gals and guys!

I've been invited by Exillian to showcase my game here. It's a pixel art puzzle platformer in which you are a dog and you try to save your owner from doom!

We're running a KS campaign and your support would be AWESOME!

Hope you like it!

This looks adorable :) And the mechanics sound interesting - what's the puzzle/platform balance in general, and is the platforming more about speed or accuracy/timing perfection? I usually like puzzle games but I'm not always great at timing platform-jumping.

The puzzle element is fused with platforming; you need to figure out how to use the smarts bar and your dog psyche to time jumps. There will be some segments where speed will count in most precision and timing is the way to go.
