Congratulations to Phoenixguard09, who is the latest person to become a Megas Domestikos on Exilian! The Megas Domestikos rank/title is given to those who've contributed the greatest amount to the Exilian community over the years. The requirements to become a Megas Domestikos are higher for this than any other rank, needing multiple seconders for the nomination and over three quarters of non-abstaining votes in favour. Having passed through the voting procedures practically unanimously, Phoenixguard now joins this elite group of which he becomes just the sixth member.

Phoenixguard has been a crucial member of this community for a long time now, including serving as M&B Heteriarch from January 2011 to August 2012 and then as our first Community and Clerisy Heteriarch from August 2012 until May 2013, a period during which he was integral to much of our recruiting and other staffing activities. Outside his staff work, though, he's made just as much (indeed probably more) impact as one of our most dedicated and effective content creators over the years. His work includes the Mount & Blade Extended Factions mod, which brings a huge number of additional peoples and fighting styles into the basic game and is very well worth checking out. He's also the creator of the epic fantasy Norbayne universe and RPG setting, which is likely to see more news and releases in 2017 and has a vast amount of lore and other work available to check out. His upcoming work also includes the Calradia: Total War mod for Medieval 2: Total War, which will bring the world of Mount & Blade into the massive tactical-scale Total War engine and no doubt will be eagerly awaited by many.

As a great pillar of this community, a great friend to many of us, and a great gentleman, it's great to see Phoenixguard get this much deserved award. Congratulations!
