Building a Library of Images for Everyone
« on: January 10, 2017, 08:00:08 PM »
Hi everyone,

I've been building a library of images that you are welcome to use in your projects. They are all original...all my own work. I think a lot of them could be made into cool textures for games.  All I ask is to be attributed as indicated on my homepage:

http://soundimage.org/

The images are on my "TXR" pages.

I'm adding new ones all the time, so be sure to check back often. I sincerely hope that some of them are useful. Any and all constructive feedback is welcome and always appreciated.  :-)

All the best,

Eric

This is a great idea :) How are you making them?

As one suggestion, I'd cut it up so you have two separate areas for textures and music (or maybe three - textures, music and sfx) and then have the subcategories within each one; it's getting to be too big a top menu to navigate at the moment.
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

Yeah, the site is getting a bit out of control...lol. I plan to do a  redesign to make it easier to get around...I'm just slammed with work at the moment. Thanks for the suggestion!

I've got a bunch of new fantasy stone and metal images ready...both standard and seamless. I think they look pretty cool. Make sure to left click on them to see the full sized images. You'll find them here:

I'll be out and about this week searching for new textures to photograph. If anyone has any requests for certain types of images, I'll be happy to keep my eyes open for them. Just let me know. :-)
