After your comment on "Ominous Sci Fi Menu" I am now just imagining a restaurant serving "Mysterious Space Squid" and delicacies like that :P
The duke, the wanderer, the philosopher, the mariner, the warrior, the strategist, the storyteller, the wizard, the wayfarer...

I'm pretty relaxed about that sort of thing, I'll happily order the mysterious space squid with a side-serving of Curious Intergalactic Seaweed. :D

I rather expect Intergalactic Seaweed is very curious indeed - after all it's decided to get out of the sea, off its planet, and across intergalactic space, and do all the scientific and technological development to achieve that. I'm not sure it would be curious enough to want to experience being cooked, eaten and digested, though.

Alternatively, you could go for the traditional science fiction fans' dish of crottled greeps. I'm not sure what a greep is, nor how one might crottle it, but I assume they're suitably delicious.

Meanwhile, many thanks for all the music and images, Eric - they're clearly useful to a lot of people.

What's the origin of crottled greeps (sorry, bit offtopic but I'm curious)?

This Fancyclopedia article looks to be the best source of information. They seem to have found their way into some other places: part of an alien race's staple diet in one SF series, and a regular foodstuff in a Diplomacy variant.
