Warband multiplayer organising
« on: April 04, 2010, 01:36:44 PM »
So, now that Warband is out, who has it? If we have enough, we could possibly form a clan, although I need to look at other clans to see the kind of competition we're facing...  :ermm:

Multiplayer is definitely worth trying out when you have the time.

A quick rundown of battle types in multi:

Deathmatch: All against all, if you die you respawn. The game ends when a certain number of kill has happened, and you get to see the guy with the highest number of kills.
Team Deathmatch: Two teams, aiming to get to a number of kills first, normally 300. The first to get there wins. If you die you respawn.
Battle: Two teams again, this time it's a series of round and you try and win the most rounds. If you die, you do not respawn until next round, the winner is whoever clobbers all their opponents first.
Siege: Same as battle, except there is a castle to capture, and the battle can be won by standing in an area to capture the castle.

These are a few, I'll list more later.

Guys I am new here but i do know that at mount and blade warband there are not any clans (that i know of) but there is a great multiplayer mod C-rpg http://www.c-rpg.net/ this is the owners email: chadzius@gmail.com

anyway they have clans and it makes the game much much better.

PS: does anyone know if u can change your banner in warband?

The "1.Press Ctrl + ~ on the world map and a console should open up.
2.Type "cheatmenu" without the quotation marks and press enter. This will make many cheat options become available.
3. Go under Camp and choose the option to "Take an action". Then choose "CHEAT: Modify your banner". Pick your desired banner.
4. Press Ctrl + ~ on the world map again and instead type "nocheatmenu", disabling all the debug messages and cheat options across the game.

but it didn't work, i go to take an action and it shows the usual please help me

1. Navigate to the folder where you installed the game.
2. Open the Modules folder.
3. Open the Native folder.
4. MAKE A BACKUP OF THE menus.txt FILE!
5. Open the menus.txt file in your favorite text editor.
6. Goto line 46. (The line that starts with: mno_camp_recruit_prisoners  10 105 1 1 2270 1 1224979098644774912 ......)
7. Replace that whole line with one of the following: (EXACTLY AS IT IS WRITTEN BELOW.)

 mno_camp_recruit_prisoners  10 105 1 1 2270 1 1224979098644774912 2106 2 1224979098644774912 24 32 2 1224979098644774912 144115188075856030 4 0 32 2 144115188075856030 0 2133 2 144115188075856028 0 2133 2 144115188075856029 0 2133 2 144115188075856030 0 3 0  Recruit_some_of_your_prisoners_to_your_party.  1 2060 1 864691128455135254  .  mno_action_read_book  0  Select_a_book_to_read.  1 2060 1 864691128455135256  .  mno_action_modify_banner  1 31 2 144115188075855949 1  Modify_your_banner.  1 900 1 1513209474796486657  .  mno_action_retire  0  Retire_from_adventuring.  1 2060 1 864691128455135258  .  mno_camp_action_4  0  Back_to_camp_menu.  1 2060 1 864691128455135251  .

Hm, dunno. I've never seen the Warband module system, myself, I only know the 1.011 version well.

I have obtained this game of which you speak as it was a mere £3.74 on this day, on Steam.

I've got all three M&B games but are bored of them now because of the lack of AI in battles no proper units for different level of troops or tactics.

Thats why I have started modding for Rome total war again after all these years.
