Welcome to The Village of the Damned
It is now Day 2. There are 6 players alive, so it takes 4 to lynch.
I'll need at least 7 people for the game to go ahead. However, the more people that sign up, the better. To sign up, post here saying that you wish to play. I will use the PM system to send out roles and night action results, unless a majority of people would prefer email. PM night actions to me, or if you would rather, email them to me at adamcoldrick[at]hotmail[dot]com.
Hellsby, 999 CE. A few months ago, a member of the village was savaged by a wolf, and as the doctors cooked up potions to save him, the full moon changed the man's soul inside. It left him so that whenever touched by the light of the full moon, he would change, and become a wolf, and hunt for more human prey. As the months wore on, the man's condition got worse, and affected his mind. Soon, he could shapeshift into a wolf whenever he wished, but only at night. Upon discovering this, the villagers decided that he was out of control, and had become more wolf than man. He was murdered by the terrified townsfolk, and his body burnt. Little did they know that the man's curse had already spread to others in the town, and soon there would be Hell to pay for the blood of the wolf-man.
Procedures/Rules
Shamelessly ripped from assorted people
If you break one of these rules, you will be either warned, replaced, or modkilled, depending on which rule it is and the severity.
The game will follow the usual day-night sequence of all Mafia games, with lynchings taking place during the day.
- Any player that doesn't post for three days in a row will be removed from the game or replaced.
- Dead players do not speak. Giving away any information after death will not be tolerated.
- Roles and numbers of each side will not be revealed.
- Be bold with voting. A vote that isn't in bold won't be counted.
- Lynches require a majority of votes. Once a player has reached the majority, his/her pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be ignored. You may also vote for no lynch.
- NO EDITING YOUR POSTS. Edit and die. No second chances.
- Do not post often during the night. A little small talk is allowed to keep the thread bumped, but keep night posting to a minimum. Do not reveal any important game information.
- Once your death scene has been posted, stop posting. You can make a farewell post or two, but no discussion of the game.
- Do not quote anything I say outside of the thread. This includes your role emails when you are claiming. Paraphrase please.
- No communication with other players outside this thread unless I say it is permitted in your role email. This excludes mafia.

Sorry I kinda went to Anglesey for a week. Day imminent :)

As Dante was walking down the street towards his house, he didn't notice the shadowy figure following his every move, nor did he notice when the shadowy figure crept into his garden as he walked towards his door. However he did notice the figure leap out of the bushes towards him with a silver knife in its hand. He shut his eyes tight, waiting to feel the cold steel pierce his skin, but instead only heard a voice cry out in rage. He opened his eyes to see his would be assassin running back down the street, and someone else disappearing in the opposite direction.
Stormcloud was turning in for the night, later than most. His clothes were muddied from when he was stopped outside Dante's house As he entered his house, his cry of terror was drowned out by a deafening howl. In the morning, when investigating the town to find out what the noise that woke them all up was, the rest of the villagers found Stormcloud's door ripped off its hinges, and his corpse in a bloody mess on the floor.
Stormcloud has been killed.
He was a paranoid warrior (serial killer) in the local militia, and therefore won when everyone else was dead.

Right, now all we need to do is figure out who stopped Dantes murder, attempted by Stormcloud I am assuming, and who killed Stormcloud. It could be a different person tbh... Maybe the person who stopped the murder is a doctor, and the Killer of SC is the warewolf... Just my thoughts.

As he has been looking forward to day, for some reason, and I am thinking that it is becuase he wanted to see how he had killed his first victim. Plus we need progress.

There are many ways, blame someone else with logical thinking, make a role claim, vote no lynch, as to not make yourself seem suspicious for voting for Andalus.
But at this rate, we wil not get anywhere, AS NO ONE IS BLOODY ACTIVE.

Okay, now I just dont understand what you are doing... It may be the case that you are a stippid townie, and you are not allowed to stick up for yourself, but I still stand by my vote.

I would have thought that anyone would be able to stick up for themself. ho hum.
Anyway, there isn't any evidence I did it. It could just as well have been you. It might have been Jubal, considering he was the first to vote, which means he's shifting the blame quickly to not draw attention to himself.
How is it in any way suspicious that I voted for Andalus?

Why are you voting for me Jubal, I am a simple townie, just going with what I see as fit. And what I see is that BN (BN BN'S :D, sorry just had to do it :p) is someone that will want to harm the town.
All I wanted is a reason why you are voting for Andalus. From what I see is that you are either mafia, or anti town, and voting for someone you know that benefits the town or a townie to win.

Its not really. I am voting for BN as he gave no explaination for his vote and he is now voting for me... But then again I could be wrong as if he knew that Andalus was a townie then he would know that I am too... But as he swapped his vote then it means that he may not know who is who...
Or it could be that I am seen as a threat by the mafia and that Jubal and Boyninja have made an elaborate plane to make sure people dont think they are on the same team (The mafia, and by voting for each other making people think Jubal isnt mafia, and thus making them seem on seperate teams too) and are now ganging up on me, hoping that people will Join the bandwagon.
Well thats my thoughts done :/ Anyone else have an opinion?

However I think that I'll let you get away with it just this once, despite the no second chances bit, mainly because you edited it a minute after you posted it, and I can't really see any major reason for doing other than that which you stated. Just don't do it again, doubleposting is fine :) .

There don't seem to be too many leads yet, but there is one potential clue. Dantes attacker was wielding a silver knife. Silver ain't a great metal for weapons, but it is traditionally used to kill werewolves. So partly because of that, I'm interested in hearing Dante RC, and also partly as a random vote:

I don't know which it is but it sounds like it is silver and the mention of steel was a slip up.

Hmm Maybe :/ But then again, if Dantes attacker was Stormcloud, then he would of been going out with a silver knife anyways as he is paranoid that everyone is a warewolf.

That is a possibility. But as I say, silver isn't a particularly strong metal, you'd only use it if you had to.
Besides paranoid isn't quite as bad as insane, he was clearly going out with an intention that night.

Hmm... There was a load howl that woke the village. Stormcloud maybe did think Dante/Zephron was a Werewolf. After all, he was in the Militia, so it would have been his job to defend against threats. One of the townies could have found him and stopped him. Dante could then have taken revenge. I agree with Andalus.

As CN2 already said, SC was a paranoid warrior who's main goal was to kill everyone in the village and, because of not knowing who is and who isn't a werewolf he had to use silver weapon...
Anyways, it's just my luck, get saved from serial killer to get lynched because the killer maybe used silver weapon...

We dont. It may just be conincidence that Stormcloud chose to kill someone, and that someone decided to kill stormcloud, but a doctor or the like saved Dante.
The best lead we have so far, and the only lead really, is what Andalus pointed out.

Well at the moment there are 3 votes cast, all for Dante/Zephron. It's one more to lynch, and it means that four are still to make any kind of decision.

Right. I make that a lynch. Sorry I took so long, my internet died on Monday and yesterday I was doing a lot of college work.

The people of Hellsby had been suspicious of Dante/Zephron from early in the day, because his attacker the previous night had been holding a steel knife. Despite his protests that he would have used silver no matter who he attacked, the rest of the village decided that they should kill Zephron, to see if stormcloud had been right in who to attack.
It was evening, and the sun was red above the mountains in the far north. The entire village was gathered outside Zephron's house. They knock on the door calmly at first, but when there was no answer they degenerated into a mob, smashing into his house, before everyone crowded around to get their knife in first. After the lynching had taken place the villagers looked at the body of Zephron. They saw that talons were half sprouted from his fingers.
Zephron/Dante has been lynched. He was a werewolf (Mafia).
It is now night 1. Please PM me your night actions.

Right I'm sick of waiting for this last night action. It will be morning tomorrow when I wake up.

CN2 locked his door and headed to bed. As he reached the top of his stairs, he heard a smash downstairs. he turned and saw a huge shadow, darker than the rest of the room around it. It began to head towards him, when suddenly a shout came from the direction of his front door, and the shadow turned. A rock flew from the door and hit the shadow which then disappeared outside towards the newcomer.
Nervous and confused, CN2 headed downstairs. There was no sign of anyone now, except a fairly large stone and a smashed door. He improvised a blockage in his doorway out of the remains, and then went cautiously to bed, although he didn't get much sleep.
No-one has been killed.

Well that more or less clears CN2 on the other hand, since NOBODY but scum could have tried to kill him, and I've never yet seen a ruleset in which scum can fake trying to kill their own.

At least we know there is a doctor about :D Now I am doubtful that Andalus is Scum, as he was the one that pointed out and first voted for scum before... And it would just be weird if you killed your team mate.
I think I am going to suspect DD, as he hasnt voted, and was very 'confused' when we were ganging up on his team mate, if he is scum of corse, it could of just been genuine confusion...

There is also the vague possibility it might be Jubal. He only voted for Dante at the last minute, but then equally if he had left it with three votes it would have gone to a no lynch, so probably not him.

Jubal, has it not occured to you that if CN2 IS scum, someone who isn't might have tried to kill him to get rid of the scum, and CN2s saviour may have been fellow scum.
I can't add to the argument at the moment cos i've got a f***ing cold, but they seem to make me decide between DD and Jubal. However, as no-one was directly seen and no-one was killed, it's impossible to tell unless someone role-claims.

The way I see it, none of the four people who voted for Dante were forced to, and could easily have declined on the grounds of it being a shaky hunch. It would be a mistake to lynch your own teammate unless you really had to in order to prevent the whole mafia being uncovered. Therefore I am doubtful that anyone who did vote for Dante is scum.
There is one possible reason for scum voting for their own, and that is to create the false illusion that they are town, relying on the exact logic I just expressed. I think Ninja is in the clear, since he also brought up the matte of the howl. Voting for your own is one thing, pointing out extra evidence is another. I also think it unlikely that CN2 is scum, sinCe he was attacked in the night. It has been suggested that he could have been attacked by a vigilante, but note that it was a "huge shadow" that attacked him, and smashed down his doors. That smells of werewolf to me. Which leaves Jubal, who has not directly put himself in the clear, but nor is he especially suspect.
This leaves DD and Evil. It has to be said DD didn't put up a huge defense for Dante, although in a small game like this that in itself would be quite a dangerous move, as if the lynch still went ahead and Dante was proved to be scum, the eye of suspicion would fall on those who defended him. Perhaps the mafia realised this and decided that the way it was going Dante would just have to take one for the team. As such, DD is still suspect in my eyes. Evil we haven't heard a peep from, which could mean that he is playing a clever game of lurking in the shadows and hoping he isn't noticed. I'd quite like to hear what he has to say for himself, but for now, DD seems the most dangerous person to be left unbothered, and I'd like to force a roleclaim out of him.

I think that you have to post in the thread if you are performing night actions, so Evil must just not be playing.
Plus if DD is mafia then he is trying to get me lynched by making it seem like a vig attempted to kill me when it was him, clearing his name :D But then if I did turn out to be townie all eyes would just go to him. Or BN..
Plus, if it was a one shot vig (That just happens to be a huge person with extreme strength) then the mafia wouldn't of performed a night action, which is stange...

It most likely was scum, though. Which exempts me and CN2, as he was the target and as Andalus pointed out, I gave extra evidence towards Dante and he turned out to be scum. I wouldn't have done that if I was scum as well.
