My vote : Do it only as far as you can keeping the map style the same

I'll probably do that, but I'll want to do a map redesign as well to economise space, and I'll still have to have only half the expansion I planned.  :knight:

How much of an issue would you see it as if most of the ocans in the game had water in the middle looking like that? It seems to be the best way of doing it so far, as I can get all the extra map I want with relatively few problems.

just keep it in the middle and everything will be fine... I don't mind small problems like that
btw did you do that in vertex mode (Thorgrims map editor)?

Yes. The reason for the problems was that the map had too many vertices, so I deleted some and stretched out the rest as you can see.

I know, I tried to do that few days ago... but it was a total disaster..that's because I am new at modding M&B ;)

PS. Is here a way to delete bridges and settlements in Thorgrims map editor?

You can delete bridges and stuff in map editor, but it's better to do it with the module system.
