What do YOU want to see in this mod? Ask and you may possibly receive!  :)

Orbital drops!

I would love to do that - can't think of a way to achieve it though sadly, there just isn't a unit type that allows that sort of thing. :/

That, on the other hand, I'm pretty sure I can manage  :D

Burrowing units, ones that go into the ground and can't be seen until they move, and even than there is only a small dust cloud.

On a more boring level, replace the bow sounds with laser sounds? Can that be done?

Good news, I just found a bunch of files sitting on my old computer from when someone tried to make a Star Wars RTW mod. This could be helpful. :)

Nice :) I was thinking about the orbital deployment of troops and although I know jack armadillo about how RTW works I was wondering if you could implement it like a reinforcement wave deploying where you direct them to?

I'm pretty sure there's no way of getting reinforcement waves that appear in non-standard ways - probably hardcoded.

That sucks, I don't see how else you could do it :(

I've had a thought, I know that Arcanii in vanillia can hide anywhere, so is there perhaps a way to hijack that and make invisibility? Could be quite fun for sneaking round to sabotage someones engineers!

Not sure how plausible this is though

The camo squad can hide anywhere like arcanii :)

Including whilst moving?

Nope - again, it's a hardcoded effect and only covers hiding whilst immobile.

Man, so much hardcoding :P what about some sort of jet bikes or something?

Technically possible if you can find me a good 3d modeller.  :P

Just sink a horse into the ground up to it's chest and reskin it. xD

Nice idea CG :P could you not steal borrow someone else's model? Why not ask one of the RTR guys?

What, out of all the other RTW-made jetbikes lying around?  :P

Yeah exactly :P no, I was wondering about your star wars thing you said never got off the ground, any models from that?

Well, there's an old version of it on ModDB - it wasn't my mod but I might borrow their laser sounds etc.

Use something from the 'secret' faction in lotrtw. It has Daleks. Daleks would be fun. :)

I seem to remember LOTRTW aren't generally happy about people picking up their models without asking, and also that they're kind of hard to get in contact with easily.

(Rest assured there will be Doctor Who references in there).

Well I seem to remember that the original guy released an "open beta" and said that anything in it was free to go, with credit given of course.
