Title: Battle of the Browsers
Post by: SaidaiSloth on September 25, 2012, 02:24:55 AM
Seems that over in another thread a debate is starting on the browsers, so I am taking it to this thread to stop it getting so off topic in the other thread.

Anyway, the battle of the browsers; Opera v Chrome v Firefox v any other browser you can think of (except IE, IE is banned)

I personally prefer Google Chrome; because it includes games, helpful addons (ex.Add sweep and AdBlock, which when combined clear all adds), and it is faster for me then any other browser I have used.

Chrome, because it's easiest to use :P Also the nicest looking in my opinion.

Moved back to the boozer - the Philosopher's Plaza is really for political, social, religious, philosophical, ethical and moral debates.

I use Chrome, anyhow.

And I added a poll!  ;D

I use FireFox... yeah, sure, it can get buggy and stuff, but I rather using this than anything belonging to the Google Empire :P (although I still use Google Search, I don't know a better alternative)

I use Opera, it's fast and has all that add blocker stuff and much more. It's interface is extremely useful and easy to use. I once tried to use Chrome but I failed at it like a noob, I just wasn't used to it. In Opera you have mouse shortcuts; such as, Right mouse button + pull mouse downwards = new tab. I really like, in comparison to Chrome, that when you close the very last tab it replaces it with a new tab page. It has spell check, as I'm sure so does Chrome. I also really like the feature of the searching, in the URL place thingo you just have to type in "g Insert search stuff here" and it'll search Insert search stuff here in google. It also works with Bing, Answer.com, Wikipedia, Amazom etc.

I use Firefox, because it is still king of customisation, and has little features that I miss in other browsers.

Although, doesn't anyone have terrible issues with Firefox? I still use it, but it freezes quite often, especially on the pages that are kinda like "heavy", like FB or YouTube. Considering my internet connection isn't that bad, and that my PC can run BF3, it really starts to get annoying.
