Hi, whenever I try to launch the mod I get a "ffdshow error: Failed to load ffmpeg.dll" I am not sure why this is happening as I remember playing the mod a while ago. I am using the steam version of Rome TW and have installed everything correctly including the new patch.

If it's a DLL it's not directly part of the mod, either you've overwritten/deleted a file during the installation or a file elsewhere has become corrupted.
I think my first advice would be to uninstall and reinstall Rome from scratch,then reinstall the mod, and see if that fixes the issue.
