Actually I propose we do not post here unless it is a guide of some description for a new-comer.  I realise that I just posted here but I felt that the point should be raised.  

On the other hand I will heartily raise my glass of coke to that cheer!  LONG LIVE EXILIAN! AND THE BUNNEH!

Problem is that I don't know how to resize gifs (too lazy too, but that's a secret!) :/... could include moar awesomeness, reducing lag (hopefully)

I'm the one that REALLY needs it. My computer barely plays Total War Medieval 2. I can play it but it's very laggy, and thats on just on the world map. when I'm in a battle it lags once every 6 minutes. Half of the time I think it's frozen. So I can only do auto resolve.

Mate I can't even install M2TW on my laptop. Or RTW. Or Solitaire for that matter.

I had the original M&B on there. After playing it for 12 minutes, my computer then made a strange noise (Sounded vaguely like a cat being shoved into a microwave) before shutting down. And excreting a hot, clear yet greeenish, liquid substance from the edge of the screen. 

Dawn of War lasted longer. 3 months before it decided to randomly delete the game.  And everything else on my hard-drive.

And then my little brother ate the "D" key, which only pissed it off even more.  I have more stories of laptop weirdness if you wish.

Yes Debux and Ladyhawk, not only is it possible but it is the computer that swears at me, randomly deletes stuff and all sorts of random crap.  And anyway, reading that should inform people that their computer issues are as nothing compared to mine.  The problems with my computer are my computer's, nothing to do with the games.

hahahaha ahhhh. I will have to meet this computer on day hehe. ;) And yes fair enough but, you my friend, have other computers to which you may access. I, on the other hand have a computer that is now having trouble with Mount&Blade Warband. When I attack a forest bandit camp, it takes at least 4 seconds to respond to what ever I do. Whether it is pressing a key or moving the mouse. Its ridiculous. I can not even attack someone because of the lag on it. -.-

Edit - I'll say I was very doubtful whether I had to create a new thread to say hello or just post here! I think a common "Hello" thread would do since no one is creating new thread for presenting themselves. :)

@ Jubal: Ummm. Maybe you should do a kind of "hello" thread that everyone can post in when they sign in. Im not sure, its up to you guys, but just from my experience I was unsure on what to do when I first signed up here. Its was Phoenixguard who showed me around a bit. That could just be me though. Im not too good with computer and computer related..........things. Thats just my experiance and my opinion, hope it helps. (Probably havent, and once again Im posting mindless dribble ;) but its there anyway just in case)

I think by "one of the other forums" he meant "outside the RTW areas" - we have a pretty good offtopic area which is worth a look, and a youtube channel and so on.

While everyone else has jumped ahead of me, a very warm welcome and I hope you enjoy it here. We're not a terribly big site, but we have lovely people and a hell of a lot of expertise. Wilkommen in Exilian! :)

Is there any way of integrating a system that gives a reason for giving karma? Kind of like how rep works in TWC (where you can add a little message)... I enjoy writing and reading those small dedications

OK, been doing some big updates here. If anyone's willing to read through the new OP here, and the new rules/starting post here (http://www.exilian.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=3915.0), and then suggest a bunch of FAQs it would be good to have answered, that would be fantastic.  :)
