for all you that don't know MMORPG stands for Massisve Multiplayer Online Role PLay Game.
e.g. World of Warcraft Runescape etc.
...
:zegun:
sure although Runescape is pathetic :P
well as a genre no, most are pathetic attempts at making a real game
even some that put effort in can be bad, I recently played the EVE online free demo of steam, that's pretty rubbish.
I did enjoy WoW for a while, but then it became dull as solo play dwindled in favour of 4 hour long dungeons, which I either never had enough time to finish, or would end up grouped with a bunch of morons, or my server would crash.
So no
someone once said "i play rtw because even the vanilla ai is smarter than people on WoW"
MMOs are generally pretty bad, I go on runescape sometimes though (although I know its rubbish).
Just wait until I create the Exilian MMO though, now THAT will be awesome.
I never play things like this,I tried runscape when it came out about 8 years ago but I was really confused about the email addresses and things like that so I didnt bother.
Lol i used to play Runescape, back 4 years, back then the graphics hurt the eyes, now though they are passable, however its really only fun when your a member and by that time your shoveling out money for a few extra features.
yes of coursce i play runescape and stuff and PC the graphics are now really cool!
I found an MMO called Perfect World which I'm trying atm, it's not too bad so far really, and the 3d coordiantes are pretty impressive (I can swim and fly!) w00t!
I tried perfect world actually, its not really different to any other
currently I am on my way to ruling the galaxy on spore :)
What do you say aboute Warhammer online then, dident most of u play the board game?
For my self, i find no fun in that genre,
i
I'm not getting Warhammer Online, looks way to rigid
I prefer single player RPGs, (morrowind :D) and I do love a good strategy game
