Title: The Most Important Bug
Post by: Jubal on August 15, 2011, 03:16:29 PM
Okay, I made a mess of something since the last map build, but old enough to be embedded in the last release. I don't know what, and show_err commands don't work on Vista. I therefore REALLY need someone with XP or 2000 or some other saner OS to go to their WHTW folder, data/maps/base, delete map.rwm. Then boot up RTW, try and start a campaign, it will kick you back to the menu. Then exit the program, you should get an error message (as long as you have show_err in your command line. If you don't, you need to add it first). I need to know what the darn message is, if there is one.

This is pretty vital since I can't work on the campaign at all until it's fixed.

Thanks, all!

Do you want my copy of the campaign? Pretty sure it's stable.

If you can shuttle over the Descr_Strat file that'd be useful. It's only a D_S bug, I'm 99+ percent sure.

Consider it shuttled.
