Title: The Eurozone Crisis
Post by: Jubal on September 15, 2011, 10:08:32 PM
Is coming soon to a bank balance sheet near you...

It's looking rather serious, chaps. Greece is going to default, it may have to pull out of the Euro, the euro may even collapse.

What are your concerns? Do you feel this is likely to affect you much?

Well that's depressing. Who wants to change the subject to RTW strategies instead? :)

I don't get it - Greece is a goldmine, I've never seen anyone go bankrupt who owns all of Greece. (http://planetsmilies.net/confused-smiley-17422.gif)

My brothers, this crisis may spell our inevitable doom...

If I fall, avenge me!

Papandreou is an American... like most of you ... Economically we are doomed...

At least the most crisis of the economic system will bring on a need for a fairer and better system. A system that will first of all think of humans and not of capitals.

Good-day to you!

Long live Argentina and Iceland! No money to those who want to drink our blood!

I really don't get what the Argentines or Icelandics have to do with this, both of them are just as capitalist as the UK, US or anyone else.

Unless you're using "Enemy of my enemy..." which would be a really odd thing to do in an idealised argument.

Incidentally, what would your design be for a new economic system?

Jubal: Well I think economy is just the top of the Iceberg...

A root-change in the political field is only able to bring good results...

God Bless America = America = Apache, Navaho, Maverick... God save your queen jubal... And that's called Socratic irony CG. Socratic, bitter irony along with anger, that's my political posts in exilian. I tend to be more calm though when I speak face to face... I won't bother you anymore and I won't post any more politics on the web... I don't trust it

Phoenixguard... There is a verse in Andrew Kalvos a greek poet of the 1821 revolution that says ''Not only your sweat, but your blood the Tyrrants want from you. And when you threw it in rivers is it enough for them?''

Our sweat is our money. Once they'll take it they will drink our blood like some monster bloody wombats!

Yes. As an Aussie I am informed of our most vicious of creatures.

They will drink the blood of all Greeks. Like wombats.

Yeah, this ALL makes perfect sense... ;)
