Righty;

- Are you using steam or a normal install?
- Can you give me a copy of the shortcut path you're using? Right-click on the shortcut and it should be there.
- Can you tell me or give me a screenshot of the folder structure where you installed it? It should go Rome - Total War/WHTW, with the Data folder and other stuff inside that WHTW folder.

Well im using gold edition.

Heres the shotcut  "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\RTW_MP\RomeTW.exe" -mod:WHTW But Activison shouldnt be there beacuse i use creative assembly foulder.

And i have no clue how to take a screen shot but im sure its in Rome - Total War.

Just make a shortcut to RTW, like a copy of your normal desktop RTW shortcut, then add the -mod:WHTW bit to it, and that should work.  :)

Make sure that the mod folder "WHTW" is located in the same location that the shortcut points to, and that inside it is a "data" folder. If there is no data then look elsewhere for the WHTW folder.

Can you make it a little bit clearer please?

Go to the exact spot that the shortcut points to (the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\RTW_MP\RomeTW.exe" stuff, though not exactly like that as we've already discovered) and see if the WHTW folder located there has a data folder inside it.

Then it should be the mod that starts when you run that shortcut.

Does it come up with an error message, or just freeze? How far does it get through the loading bar?

Okay, that's odd. Try removing the -mod:WHTW from your command line temporarily; does it then start Rome Total War normally? (This is just to check whether it's the files and file structure or a shortcut problem)

Okay. And your folder structure goes Rome - Total War/WHTW/Data?

Also, to check, you're definitely running it through the Rome Total War exe not the Barbarian Invasion or Alexander ones?

We need to see a screenshot of the inside of your RTW and WHTW folders.
