So guys I'm asking you for just a minute of your time to read this thread and respond to this idea. Even those who are not interested in Warhammer.
Since there's much hype about the new Hobbit movie, I thought that we could make a small project in which every participant would model a hobbit/halfling.
The setting isn't of much importance. Just follow your imagination. For example: SF-space themed halfling or a knight-hobbit would be more than welcome.
Scratch-building or kit bashing are both welcome. Any kind of material will do. (modelling putty/clay is recommended though)
This would be the first in the line of community projects which would be nice for several reasons:
1. They are fun
2. You don't have to be a great sculptor to start, and after a few projects you'll gain some skill
3. Encouraging creativity
So that's the general idea.
Please comment.
I have a halfling knight and I've long planned to finish building a regiment of fellows for him, this sounds like a good opportunity. :)
Absolutely.
When should we start?

In a day or two?
Just to make sure that everyone sees this.
Alrighty then. Looks like I'm going to have to go and find meself some greenstuff. :)
Ok.
Can we start tomorrow?
can i enter van halfling?
Of course. Anything is okay as long as you're modelling it yourself. :)
I need to obtain supplies first, so hopefully by next Monday I reckon I should be able to begin. :)
Not sure when I'll start, my GS is ancient so don't know if it'll still be use-able.
