Title: Artist hunting (again)
Post by: Jubal on September 20, 2012, 01:50:03 PM
Okay, I'm looking for someone to do art for Adventures of Soros. I'd ideally like someone to do all the setting pictures (currently, there's 33 settings, though a lot of those can double up if needs be).

Anyone interested? Art style can be anything from pixel to sketches. Equally, if you have any good ideas for where to advertise for someone, give me a shout. :)

I would do it if I had the time...

But if you don't manage to find someone better, you know where to find me. :P

"if you don't manage to find someone better"

So speaks a man who has clearly never had to fathom the impossibility of finding artists for projects. Finding *someone* is a miracle.  :P

Try deviantart.
Lots of aspiring artists looking for projects or challenges.
Sometimes even for free, if they're trying to prove their worth.

I've got adverts up in lots of places, no interest yet though. If I had money to commission people it'd be easy, but most people charge pretty high prices. :/

But have you tried devianart?
It's your best bet.

You might need some kind of description with basic outlines of your ideas. Knowing you, you probably took care of that part already.
