Title: George Boole
Post by: Glaurung on December 10, 2014, 01:01:47 PM
Something I didn't notice on the day: 8th December 2014 (Monday) was the 150th anniversary of the death of George Boole, the inventor of Boolean logic and algebra. Given how fundamental this is to computing, and hence Exilian's existence and activities, it seems worthy of note here. There's a short BBC News article (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-magazine-monitor-30376235) that attempts to explain how significant it is.
