I think it's movements rather than total sum of fascists, which may be no bad thing - more movements, more internal arguments, divide & conquer and all that :p

I think one of the most famous thing Australia is known for is inventing Wi-Fi, if they are even known for that. Other than that are obviosly all the dangerous animals that people over react about. I mean, our spiders aren't really that bad! Just because they're bigger and more common and more deadly... yeah...
