Also I recently discovered the whole series is on YouTube, which is bad news for any chance I might've had of getting a degree at the end of this year.

I prefer it to most Trek that I've seen, I think. It's very cleverly written IMO. And I love the space western aesthetic to bits, which is why I've nicked so much of that in my Cepheida concepts. :)

What Star Trek have you seen Joob?
Rather little; like a couple episodes of TOS, one of DS9, and a crapload of YouTube clips. All really good stuff that I enjoyed a lot, but I don't think it does either a disservice to say that I think Firefly is of a similar calibre and, being one short series, tends to have a high ratio of hits to misses that a longer series finds it tough to match up to.
Fair enough. Maybe it was hyped up to much but I just found it lame. :P
