Another human variant - since there's now a cutlass weapon in game, I thought it might be good to have someone to use it, and we do already know that pirates exist in the Son of a Witch setting so... behold, a new knight variant! Here's my pirate, rather randomly named as Captain Lockford, riding a dragon and wielding his signature weapon. He comes complete with big piratey coat, red beard, and feathered tricorne - all the basics a self-respecting terror of the high seas needs to go find some loot! Install Instructions1. Navigate to: Steam/steamapps/common/Son of A Witch/Witch.app/contents/resources/gfx/knight
2. MAKE A COPY of the "knight.png" file (call it something like knight_blue)
3. Paste the knight_arr.png contained in the zip file (attached to this post, below) into the folder, and rename it to "knight.png".
4. If you want to switch back to the normal blue knight, just switch the filenames back round.
As with all modpacks this is an unofficial project, released for free and downloaded/used entirely at the user's own risk.
Yay! Pirates!!! ;D
Like most of mine it looks quite hand-drawn compared to the "real" graphics, and has less a exaggerated hat, but I think the tricorne came out fairly well considering :)
Not an expert on graphics, just thought it was really cool... :)
Hey, this looks really funny - in a positive way.
I might do a version in brighter/more contrasting colours? I think my instinct is often to go for a subtler colour palette than the rest of the game has...

Actually I feel like it's perfect the way it it. I'm thinking I should allow some scripting for existing NPCs, so you could create a mod with some pirate story to play.
Basically, any moddability you add into the game, you can be assured that I will manage to use it :)
