I think fantasy political ideologies should be hard to map onto real world political ideologies. This is inspired by Disco Elysium and Esoteric Ebb, both very very very good games about politics that nevertheless feel somewhat politically unimaginative. So have some new fantasy and sci fi ideologies and factions.
7th Gaters - want the gates shut into and out of the city, except for the 7th (the gate of the dead). They want to have a government of just 7th Gaters. Pro-necromancy, anti-immigrants. Led by an apocalyptic demigod, Nerren.
El Orden de San Isidrano - Highly skilled Minsanto biologists with a Catholic bent. In internal tumult, organizing to fight climate change a little too late, running a community garden inside the enormous greenhouse against company policy. Located on the Chilean-Ecuadorian-Peruvian tripartite Antarctic city, Star City.
The Verse - Elven-led faction focused on traditionalism and oral storytelling. Led by griots. Intend to memorize and then destroy all books and ban literacy due to the desire to have things be like the good old days. Somewhat elf supremacist.
