The icons will be going in, yea.

I've nearly got the entire western half of the map done (old world, norsca, southlands, darklands), and Ulthuan is done (bar nagarythe). The New World will beckon later this week methinks...

Empire can train most of their regular (state) troops now, Brettonia, Kislev and Luccini are also coming along well and the High Elves are nearly done.

On the other hand, I'm still only on troop-training buildings...

Ja. One other thing I'd really like to help you with is condensing the mod folder.  :)
Title: New Progress Thread
Post by: Jubal on June 04, 2010, 06:29:12 PM
Yea, that'd be a good idea. I'll PM you some reskin stuff anyway, some of it'll be a bit sketchy idea-wise so you'll have a bit of artistic license...

Darkelf troops all trainable, more Empire troops available, now making a start on Dwarfs.  :D

This all sounds really fun :D! Maybe I could join? I am able to do a bunch of stuff with the M&B Module Folder ( in TEXT :D ), so I thought I might be able to help here. I do NOT, however, have the Warhammer game. If it is downloadable, I could just test stuff on there perhaps. So, Get back to me.

~Ryan

P.S.

I apologize if this post was meant to be elsewhere, but I felt to lazy to look for a/the "Recruitment" Thread :P
Title: New Progress Thread

this mod's for rome total war not for M&B
QuoteI do NOT, however, have the Warhammer game.
and the point of that :-/
Title: New Progress Thread
Post by: lordryan756 on June 21, 2010, 03:07:07 PM
I meant I could maybe help with a code or something. I learn fast. I could do a Model or something too. I currently have nothing to do besides go back & forth between these other online games. If there is a downloadable version I could help. So, if this is considered spam, then I will just delete/edit into nothingness my posts.

~Ryan

P.S.

I KNOW this isn't for M&B  :ninja:

The only problem with modelling for rtw is that you need 3ds max  :(
Title: New Progress Thread
Post by: lordryan756 on June 21, 2010, 03:19:21 PM
That can't be too bad.. Where do I download it so I can mess with it? Is the problem that i sense in your statement that there is a fee to use it.

Again, Sorry for this prolonged Spam Fest :P

Do you know much about Warhammer? You could be a help with text files and naming and so on quite easily...

Post by: lordryan756 on June 21, 2010, 03:30:44 PM
I looked at a couple of packages, figures, and so on. I saw a video or 2 on youtube also. I know there are Goblins/Orcs, humans, and stuff like that. I seem to remember SW posted a WH photo on "Beat the person above you", first post on second to last page. That's pretty all I know besides they make figures, paint sets, and boards to play War Hammer.

Wood Elves, Araby, and Lizardmen troops trainable in campaign now.

Chaos and Brettonia also completed troop tree wise. Orcs and Vampires are the main ones to go now really, and more Empire stuff.

Added the Knights of Morr and Priests of Morr in custom battle mode, for the Empire.

There are just two buildings which don't work, both the specific buildings for Araby (Carthage). No idea why, but both mess up the game severely.

Excellent. Very nice work on the regions! Looks great on that map, which looks simply beautiful.  ;)  ;)   ;)   I have a very high theoretical expectation for the success of this project. It will look superbly epic with proper interface graphics (if you have to use some from lotrtw so be it) and other atmospheric enhancers.

I've gone through and cleaned up the clutter and removed some things, such as wip folders, that don't need included in a release. There's also a little surprise waiting for you.  :ninja:

Used 7-zip to condense, coming in at 65mb  B)
