These threads probably don't all need to be spoilered. :P
-
My bad,fixed it now.
-
I added a few new screenshots made by Sir Mano from the new version.
I hope you like them. ;D
-
I'd advise using a different horse model (one of the armoured ones I sent you) with the knights, it looks odd having such a heavily armoured knight on an ordinary horse (and even more so with a saddle blanket totally a different colour to the heraldry)!
I like the other troop types a lot; the hooded guys are neat, and the falxmen skin is very well done too.

Yeah,I know,I will change it soon -_-
Thanks. ;D

Looks nice, but I'd say that the colours are a bit too bright... might be because I'm dull though :P I loved the first screenie with cav, it looks like a really cool unit!
-
Those mounted axe guys with the Greek helmets are interesting. :)

That is becose they are vanilla-ish,tho there are a few non standard units (like nomad infantry and wild men) :)

They are probably one of the more intresting units in the game...There is 10 of them in 1 unit in normal scale, but they are truly devastating to infantry...not as much as I intended...but I hope I will fix that soon... :P

New screenshots are up!
-
Nice blending... I'm rather dubious on the testudo-capable soldiers using a scutum, and still dubious with the brightness of vanilla colours, but many units are looking really nice (I'm quite amazed those axe-wielding cavalrymen were capable of routing auxilia... as you said, they must be pretty powerful!). Keep it up! The only bad thing I could say is that maybe you should try using other helmet models, the corinthian design, albeit cool, can get rather repetitive :P

Thank you very much.
Those cavalry are not as powerful as I intended,I need to find a way to making them even more devestating to the enemy...Anyone got a idea? ::)
Yeah,I know,I will try using other ones more... :-\

More devastating? Increase their charge bonus.

It's already 10,and their standard attack is 12 (plus it's AP)....
-
... they sound pretty powerful enough, of course, it still depends on how their stats are in comparison to the other units. Do you want to make them the best unit in the mod?

Yep,best mounted unit.
They wouldn't be overpowered tho, since in 1 unit there is only 10 of 'em.
-
You could give them a good anti-cav bonus, for them to be dominant there... really depends on where you want them to excel.
A good idea to balance them could be to give them horrible stamina, to make them a hit-or-fail weapon. If you use them for too long, their stamina would drop so low that it would make them a lot less useful in the battle.

Hmm...not a bad idea...
