Time for a Jar Jar binks musical dance off thing... oh god the horror. Anyone else have an opinion about this?
-
I am of the same opinion as you, Disney will undoubtedly create some horror of music and poor cheesy sitcom...
-
This only solidifies the fact that Star Wars has become a thing for children (due to frickin' George!).
Star Trek FTW
-
Fingers crossed, but not very hopefully. :P
-
Now do we actually know they will be animated?
Its strange to assume it will be for children, Disney is big, really big, Empire big and they are not as limited as some of you seem to assume.
But all the same, we should not expect too much for now.

They're not going to be animated. This isn't just Disney buying the rights, they're literally buying out all of Lucasfilm, and Lucas will still be on the team.
I'm not so worried about the "for children" thing as the fact that I think it'll be quite difficult to re-energise the franchise generally.
