This is the "official" party thread for our fifth anniversary.

It's been quite an interesting ride so far - hopefully everyone's looking forward to the next five years!

And very genuinely, thanks to all of you.  :)

Attempted to draw a celebratory quinquennial quinquereme. In short: failed.

Never drawn boats before and frankly no idea how to draw a freaking quinquereme. No idea how to draw a hull for one of those things to fit the oars in. I couldn't even find out how the freaking oars worked. I always used to think it was five rows of oars, but apparently there are just one, two or three rows, with five oarsmen between them. Disappointed. Large polyremes with ridiculous numbers of rows would look awesome. I suppose at least I learnt something.
