Title: Forgefyre
Post by: Jubal on October 16, 2014, 06:24:10 PM
AND SO IT BEGINS.

I'm going to try and get this story on a schedule where it updates regularly. For now use this thread for discussions, at some point if it becomes ludicrously popular I might go for making regular update threads but that's probably a hell of a long way off!

Also check out update 1 the prologue video!

Backlog? What do you mean by that?

Presumably Jubal wrote some of Forgefyre before release to allow himself time to write after launch and maintain a regular schedule.

Aaaaa, I see. So Jubal's in a bit of a dilemma I see. :P

Yes, that's correct.

On the plus side, soon I should have another ten updates done, which takes me well into Christmas, and I'm hoping to write a fair few more then :)

Nice, are there many more accompanying pictures and stuff planned for the future?

Yus, though those will depend on Hannah's schedule.

Now sorted out up to the 23rd Dec, which gives me a while to crack on and write some more. Hoping to get a nice big healthy backlog (possibly even a couple of chapters' worth) written over Christmas.

Got some more updates up, keeping on a twice a week schedule.

Checked the analytics and I have no readership at all, but oh well!

I forgot about this. Even though I'm no longer active around here very often, I will read it for you. :D

Yey, I think that brings the readership to three plus the creative team of two :P

Any comments/thoughts/feedback? :)

I really love the writing and art styles, they certainly complement one another. The plot has certainly engaged me, I'll be following updates from now on. On that point, do you have an rss feed? I also really like the atmosphere of the world, plus the steampunk aesthetic.

No, I'm not really sure how one gets one/sets one up, it's not something I've ever used. I'll look into it!

And yes, the art is lovely - Hannah is I think rather busy at the moment, but hopefully she and her drawing pad will reappear sometime into the future :)

On which note tomorrow's update still isn't finished, should get on that really :s
