Title: Total War: Warhammer Cinematic Trailer
Post by: Jubal on April 22, 2015, 11:56:19 PM

Soooo... thoughts?

It looks reasonable, thus far, looks like as usual depth will win out over breadth which is a pity perhaps. And it's been given a fairly grimdark/40K feel rather than the more "open" feeling I associate with WHFB. But nonetheless it should hopefully be good.  :)

I really don't trust pre-rendered trailers.

It'll be good enough.

EDIT: Btw its apparently been in development for years. Might be a winter release.

I think depth being emphasised over breadth is definitely a good thing here, I would rather play a game where  a few races are genuinely different to play instead of one where you can play a armadillo ton of different races but have pretty much the same sort of game each time. Also they can make DLCs and armadillo for new races which I know lots of people will bitch about but I feel is pretty reasonable if they're actually going to take time to create some real variety. I'm looking forward to this though I don't actually think I'll have a machine capable of playing it when it comes out.

I second that. All of the that.
