So "lift gas" - do we know what its properties are relative to hydrogen and helium, the two main equivalents in real-world airships?

Liftorium normally would be a heavier gas than helium and thus give less lift, tis only when a electrical current is run through it that it becomes lighter and produces greater lift. As you can imagine it is less flammable as well, though tanks of the stuff would explode if engulfed in flames....eventually.
