Title: Exilians, NaNoing
Post by: Lizard on September 27, 2015, 11:59:06 AM
So it's almost only a month to go until NaNoWriMo, and I was wondering if any Exilianites plan to partake? Because we should definitely hold writing challenges/virtual write-ins/all add each other as NaNo buddies.

Anyone already know what they're going to write? Anyone pantsing?

What are the dates/rules/details? I could actually try this this year, though I guarantee I'll fail horribly if I do so.

1st-30th of November, fifty-thousand words of original* fiction.

(and don't worry, I fail most years)

Hmmm... bit tempted. I'm sure I shouldn't/should be working on Forgefyre or GS&S instead though. :/

Then make that your NaNo project! Lots of people 'rebel' by bringing previously started works. I've done it in the past, but for me nothing beats the thrill of being awake at three in the morning because you can't think of any more decent plot points :D

I may well have a go at that - it would certainly be helpful to have more incentive to build up a good ForgeFyre backlog :)

I tried last year but failed hard.

I think I found that with a lack of interest from others, my enthusiasm tapered off in a big way.
