Cute indeed, and also thoroughly bizarre, as all the best bestiaries seem to be.

I'm not sure they've done any more similar videos for other animals... gap in the market perhaps?

Well, that was weird. It must have been a pretty chill life to be an academic back in the day, you could write any old armadillo and no one would even bother to try to disprove it.

What this misses out is that none of these entries were supposed to be serious scholarship on how the animals lived. The main point was usually in an allegory or metaphor based on the random bullarmadillo about the animal, which would be a religious metaphor of some sort on how the reader/audience should live.
