Middle Earth General Election: The Results!

It's JRR Tolkien's birthday, and appropriately we can finally announce the results of the Middle-Earth General Election game we've had running through 2015! This online megagame-style event has stretched over many months, with five members taking the roles of political leaders in Middle-Earth and many others chipping in to form the electorate.
The close result has been a coalition between the left-liberal MEAD and centre-left MACHO parties, with the eco-socialist Greens, monarchist WTA, and... (orc-ist?) SSS forming the opposition. It's been great fun for everyone concerned and if you want to know more, there's plenty to read through!
