Title: Welcome to the Exilian Bardic Club
Post by: Jubal on June 21, 2016, 04:40:48 PM
A thread that does pretty much what it says on the tin!

This forum is for discussion of folk, bardic, and traditional music and dance from anywhere in the world. Filk, bard songs, geek-folk, etc are also all welcome here. Feel free to share and request lyrics and chords, discuss recent artists and releases, and so on.

Other areas you might want to look at:
Exilian Media (http://exilian.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=63.0) - the forum for our YouTube music & performance channel, which includes some of our own folk work.
Spoken Storytelling (http://exilian.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=213.0) - for another important folk art form.
Ceilidh Callers' Club (http://exilian.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=140.0) - The subforum of this one for ceilidhs and anything to do with them, containing a number of guides to particular dances

Update 8/10/23: I've renamed the thread and subforum to Bards' club, because a lot of what we do here is as much filk as folk so the looser definition seems sensible.
