OK, major update is that games will formally be starting on FRIDAY 12 AUGUST, come rain or shine. This means anyone can still sign up until Friday - after Friday people are welcome to sign up for gaming events until R1 has finished, and for writing events until the deadlines of those events (I'm expecting the writing events deadline to end up being the 20th so people will have a week or so). This late start may mean we finish after the 21st, but ah well.
