You know what? Fair enough.
You haven't saved the world, BEESNOT LUMPWAGON. You still live in a two-room cell block governed by mysterious forces of which you know nothing, you have no idea who you really are, and for all you know you're a pawn in a mysterious interdimension game being played between Immanuel Kant, the God Of Lemurs, the Sentient Spore of Mundifron, and Supreme Lord Robot Krishna. You might be the lost head of the druidic order, or the antichrist, or at least the anti-Chris (Chris is an ass, be glad you never met Chris). There's a whole world out there you won't get to see now, perhaps ever.
But everything - everything - was against you getting even this far. You could have been eaten by a tiger or a fungus, or simply fallen over and died, or eaten poop and had a horrible disease, or simply have turned into someone else entirely. And yet here you are. You have more living space, you're clean, you've eaten recently, and you feel just that little bit better about existence.
And, some days, that is more than enough. Well done, BEESNOT LUMPWAGON. You did good.
