KNOWN BUGS (Please read before posting)
- Tataca's exploits dialog doesn't work.
- The fenlander sword gets held wrong (out to the right)
- Some item values are oddly low/high

When you ask general Tataca "Tell me about your exploits !" there is no way to finish the conversation ...

And some item values should be fixed ... I've found a chipped 1h sword with 49 damage
Also a few lamellar armors are unrealistically weak

Certain towns/villages have no landscapes so to speak.

I tried to liberate a village from bandits, but discovered a battle where my troops were crowded in a line while being bombarded by forest bandits on a hill above my troops.

There will be guns, but only vairy vairy primitive ones; basically some of the new eastern factions will have handheld cannon jobbies when I get round to making their lands/troop trees.

You can get guns from a guy at Veluca university already, but it's  just a testing thing; he'll give you hand cannons for free.

Hi, i am getting sometimes crashing(usualy in battles) and got no idea why so cant be about my computer since its 2GT Ram, AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ and NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT also i am using Windows Vista Ultimate 32 Bit Operatin System so i think it goes to Vistas bill in this case but if you could say me other reason could be nice, and also how to fix this since it isnt nice to play 15 minutes and crash :P

Windows Crash Report and its the usualy crash report what i get if some game crashes :P i am not meaning with this that games would crash normaly but sometimes when they do it gives that error report

Thanks for this cool mod Jubal!

I find a bug. Im stuck in the conversation with Jubal when he ask "Have you got a sword for me yet?" I tried it with different type of swords but i always stuck.

i got the problem solved this far, yet some random crashes :) it was Vistas fault as i suspected but i got a bug report now too...

when i go to university where they should sell guns they say "Engage me or begone" or something i really dont remember so i cannot get any guns :(

It depends who you talk to. One guy DOES give you guns - I think it's the first past the double doors at Veluca uni (Not the Commagene Imperial University).

I've also fixed one random crash bug that occurs in battles, which is good.

When they said that to me I shot them with an Arrow and got the friendly fire message....can I claim that as a bug :)

It's all tied in as one; those guys don't have associated dialogs, so they revert to M&B's "ultimate base" dialog. That's the "Surrender or die. Make your choice." one... :)

now i could start to put up all kind of bugs minor and "big" ones but they dont bother much :D only small like some chat freeze(what is bit amusing since need to restart game) or some areas are missing/flying...

But real deal is, that i hope you could add more weight to religion so that you could build up church/monastery in villages to convert people to faith and recuit religious people and some kind of missions for religious monasterys :D and some fight agains other faithes and heretics :D :D yea it sounds bit weird/big but why not? ^^

Religion will be expanded the release after next; next release will prolly be naval stuff and more features, then the one after will add the remaining factions (more arabic/moorish themed) in the east along with lots of crusading madness.

one question, why my strenght and agility have incresed to 30 when i am lvl 27? i really dont think that doing normal wheat delivery or capturing enemy generals gives it so huge bonus? could it be that veteran merchenary leader who lives in castle?

Played the correct version now. ^^

Still getting bugged spawn points in villages for bandits random attacks and peasant training, spawning off the map, clumped together. If you jump then you're put on the edge of the map, but the opposition stays where they are and you can't get them.

The village I was in was Dumar.

Maybe the fetch me cows peasant mission could be scrapped... it's really irritating... and it pops up 70% of the time... : /

Especially whilst you retain the herding mechanic from Vanilla, which is merely an aggravation in itself.

Had some deserters spawn on a river where they couldn't move from or be attacked, next to Maras Castle. Though they eventually managed to get free.

Any way for you to change the text size of the announcements on the left? As it's a bit of a mess when it gives you morale updates, which keep scrolling, and by the time you know your troops are being slaughtered it's a bit late to act.

Also it says "Debug Routine 2" now and then during every battle and occasionally enemies will just stand inanimate and wait to die for a bit before moving.

Is it just me... or are roaming troop spawns a little bit jarring, when something poofs up in front you, is there any way that it could not happen within sight radius?

I can't help but think the ladder to Grunwalder Castle, is too steep, causing troops to slowly edge up and on occasion slide straight back down again, making the battle even more steeped in the favour of the defender than need be. As well as this the relative cliff next to the ladder... which none of the troops care about and are quite happy to ponder up under crossbow fire seems a tad much.

Did you save it before you entered the village?

Here is the fix. Just put it in the "SceneObj" folder. Let me know if it works...

It's a quick fix however if each village is missing the entry points then it could take a while to get each one. If you happen to come across it again let me know so I know whichever village you ran into is missing it.

This is an ongoing issue. Carilii should work fine but somewhere between my transfer to Jubal and the upload to the public something happens to the castles I think.....or it could be due to it's change of location....

Either way try this and let me know if it helped.

Just put the file in the "SceneObj" folder.

- Steppe nomads should fight steppe bandits and black khergit.
- I dunno how to stop the added NPCs getting involved, it's really annoying. Oh, and btw don't talk to Jessica, she's there for testing purposes and may sverel;y unbalance your gaming experience.  :P
- Carilii (the new version) wasn't added until after the most recent upload, so you've still got the old buggy version. Sorry.

Grunwalder was always designed (in native, not by me) to be a bitch to siege. Love the pain, as my PE teacher always shouted at us.  :P
The cow quest is annoying, I'll see what I can do. I rarely ever go to villages now I can recuit in towns...
I'm removing most if not all of the morale announcements for next version, they were mostly for testing anyway.
I don't think I can fix the spawning thing, not without a TON of work that would be better done elsewhere.

i was lvl 23 actualy, yes i have the rage ability but i dont know how to use it only getting healing effect from it also i have lvl 10 power strike and power draw and the Health adding thing too at lvl 10, its actually funny :D i am unstopable even i wear a Shirt +6 body armor and best damage doing 2 handed sword :D :D 1 hit and all are down i dont even have to block since they cannot kill me since so much HP...

it was funny at begin but now its kinda booring  :ermm:

also many sieges are bugged so that enemys spawn out of the castle and archers spawn underground so its not good either  :unsure:

It sounds very much like you've triggered Rage by accident and it's got stuck on "on". Ironflesh 10, Power Strike 10, and STR30 are its exact effects...

I'm not really sure what you can do about that... it is a very rare bug, but I can never work out quite how to stop it happening.

yet , you could try to fix the steppe bandits since when i ever i go to Khergit areas only thing i see is biiig white balloon and thosuands of steppe nomads and make major improvements for next patch :) fix the bugs mostly i beg you for doing that

Every time I try she says I haven't proven myself.

Well I'm a lvl 31 with an army of 80 maxed out knights/archers/infantry with 700 renown and 50 honor.

She still won't let me join.

THat's a teensy bit wierd.

If you want a quick fix, try the following;
- Go to Uxhal
- Go into the courtyardy bit, up the stars, and round to the other side.
- Talk to Jessica.
- Talk to her again and ask for renown

Hopefully if you boost your renown by some ridiculous aboumt it might work. If not, I've not a clue what the issue is.

the red Khanate castle (camp paskent) is one of the unfinished ones flying in the air, but im sure thats known about and isnt really a massiave gamplay problem.
the real bug with it is that some of the enemy spawn points are actually off the map....  and they have crossbows. so its impossible to get to them but they are in range to protect their spawn points that are on the map. (which are close to the edge). which makes the castle impossible to take without doing things that amount to cheating.

also are spawn points set during scene edit mode? because if so then i might try and learn how to fix the most annoying ones and (if its useful) contribute that work.

im also coming across difficulty with attaining a lord and master to be a vassal to. ive even tried shopping round and asking people at random - and doing the jessica renown grabbing thing.

it might have something to do with my having independantly taken over the red Khanate..... but the game has never had a problem with me owning stuff before being a vassal before (not that ive tried it often). although its entirely possibly that its simply my pathetically low honour rating of 13 thats the problem.


also every single king i come across when i meet them for the first time seems under the impression that i have some sort of agreement with a rival claimant to their throne... and i havnt even said hello to more than 2 of the pretenders (i know from the past that pretender quests can get a bit funny - although thinking about it that would be an easy way to get around the lack of leige lord thing - right - TO THE TAVERN MEN TO FIND A TRAVELLER AND PUT A RIGHTFUL KING ON A THRONE).

further edit: the tavern in Garhias (in the Gorrin Empire) looks very much like it was intended to be an arena. its possibly the two scenes were accidentally switched at some point.

This isn't a bug per se but when ever I'm playing the game when movinh across the map, the camera and my charcter move in a very stilted and awkward manner kinda like early stop motion animation, in battle and towns, taverns etc evrythings smooth and slinky, any ideas on why this is so?

I am having problems. For one I was not sure which version your new release is for. So I just put it for 1.011 as I believe that is the current version of the Original Mount and Blade.....Or was it 1.013?...Anyways it says that I have 1.011 and it works, as in it lets me start and play, BUT I bought a bear as I was like HEY...A BEAR! YEAH! B) Then I was in battle and seen the bear....Its head was all messed up. It was caved in on itself and...well I do not know how to explaind it except that it was NOT a head. It was all polygons intangled within one another...I think I seen the bears nose, but I wasnt sure it was such a mess. Then the thing is the map...For some reason the water is all glitchy. Like you overlapped patches of water over water or whatnot. Same with some of the land, and it looks as if some land is missing to the north, , some of the east, in the southern seas and northern seas. Also to the west. It seems also that some towns are missing around I believe Tulga or Humar(I think thats the town :s) I think. Idk...I do not know if I downloaded it wrong, or if something is wrong within itself. I dont truly know. I need help to fix these problems and since this is the bug section I thought you might be able to help here. One more thing. The foreign sword or the Samurai looking sword (the two/one handed labled ones) are pulled out by the left hand over the shoulder and they just appear in the right hand and then it is put back over the shoulder by the right and teleports to its sheath...so I dont know if thats how it is or not, but it is annoying. Waaah wall of text!

The bears shouldn't be buyable at all, sorry about that. They were made for an earlier M&B version and need major rebuilds to be useable for the current one. My main problem with modding is that I'm a pure coder - I don't do any 3d graphics stuff and never have done - so that's beyond my power to fix except by removing it totally.

As for the overlapped water, that's done because there's a restrictiong on how may polygons I can have on the map. So I figured that if I stretch 1 poly over a large area of water I get more map space. :P

The Khergit area doesn't have any towns missing per se, though I might add a few at some point. It's steppe country, though, which would be one of hte most sparsely populated terrains in the world.

The Samurai swords is an anims/graphics thing that I don't know how to solve, sorry.  :ermm:

Ah, thanks. So then stay away from the bears...even though they are awesome as hell  :D Lol. Also, the map IS made that way then? It was intentional? There are no missing continents below there or anything? Just looks that way then I guess XD
   Also, there is more than just that in the kerghit area. There is an entire area northwest of there that is all plain. Just blank and it strecthes to the edge of the map....Idk. Sorry if I seem a bit paranoid or whatnot it is just the first time I played this and so do not know how it is supposed to look like.
   Then there is an area of desert to the north and east in the corner. All blank. Was there an old town there or something?
   Then down near some yellow worded towns in the south west corner there appears to be more, but it just cuts off. Again, Im not sure if this is how it is or again if it was lost in script. It is just that I like the mod alot from what I have seen of it.
   Sorry for the "wall" of text XD but I am new to the mod and just want to know how things should be in it so I can get the full epic awesomeness that is this mod :D <3 Everyone should bow to this mod.  :DarkstarOnly:

The yellow (nord) areas (which are meant to be NW by the way not SW) are meant to cut off like that, yes. And the seas are "meant" to look screwed up.

As for the eastern edge of the map and the deserts, that's space to add extra factions if I ever want to. I do have the last few planned, but I don't know if I'll ever get round to making them.

Cool. Idk, you could go far with this if you wanted to. Just get some 3D modeling help from others and you mod would be Godlike epic. :D I have a question though. Do you have a troop tree at all? One that tells you which is calvary and which is ranged and which is foot? The reason why I am asking is because I leveld troops and found wierd names. I couldnt tell which was which :P Cool mod. Just wanted to say that again XD

I don't have a written copy, I do have all the info in my head, so ask away!  :D

I've come a pretty long way with SR (the early versions literally just added afew troop spawns and 1 Gorin castle), and I've spent aaaages of my life on it. Where I go now depends on demand really; if enough people want me to I'll port it over to Warband, if there's not so much interest I might wander off to some of my other projects (like my poor neglected half-finished book or the standalone game I'm writing).

Well to be specific. With the Hematite(or however you spell their name. I cannot remember XD All I know is that it is the faction with black lettering) I get the hematite spearman. Then it says Arafi or something and then something else. I chose the bottome one as those are usually archers. That itself has its own two branches. Going into Hafarisha or something. Then to a ranger. My question is this. Which is the actual ranger and which isnt? What is what. I wish I knew so I could make my troops the way they should be. XD

The Afaris and the Afari Rangers are ranged troops. The Harafishas are light infantry, the Askaris are heavy infantry.

Plenty I suspect, just ask about any you're unsure of. I've given the troops "local"names to the real cultures they were based on, which makes it feel more thematic but can be confusing.  :P

I have some questions about some things that seem like bugs
1.
In The Imperial Monestary everyone says surrender or die to me. Why is that?
this also happens in the fortified manor and in velcula university thandasar and guvar says it aswell.
2.
In every tavern that is a sort of village you cant enter if you press walk towards the inn.
3.
In the chapter house you can squeeze yourself past the door and enter without the guard opening it first.
4.
In the varalite prioryes i cant reply to anyone my character just says no thak you your grace
5.
At Jarrens rock where do you enter the tavern?

Other than these bugs i love the mod and all the things you guys have done with it. i know that its difficult to prevent bugs from accuring but i think that you guys can easily fix this.

Im Looking forword to newer versions :D

I know, I can't seem to get passages working for them. The inn outsides may have different functions of theire own at some point.

1. In The Imperial Monestary everyone says surrender or die to me. Why is that?
this also happens in the fortified manor and in velcula university thandasar and guvar says it aswell.

In the varalite prioryes i cant reply to anyone my character just says no thak you your grace
