Oops, didn't realise I hadn't posted anything!
Here's module_troops, with lord names fixed for several but not all factions. Search "jubal" to find the changes inside the file.

Yes, though not for another week or so while I finish off Computing coursework. I'm planning to change around quite a few cities, castles, and so on to be more in line with the fluff (so the Dwarfs have more cities and few castles, the Orcs the opposite, Empire a better balance, and so on and so forth. Most nations will get more settlements too). If that's OK, of course?

Yep thats fine with me , just two things tho remember to leave enough villages for recruiting troops of each faction as you can only a sign 1 village per Castle and I think its 3 villages per town and let me know before you start as I have been editing the map a little so I'll send you the map files when you are ready to start.

what about recruiting from towns / castle? there are some mods using this system too.

I know the village/castle/town number rules, I made the whole map for SR (and Avarice of the Exiled and a couple others) remember. :P
It'll probably be a week before I start while I finish stuff off before easter break.

Not much, been tweaking SR. Should get some done next week hopefully.
Also, is the module_parties.py in the mod system that comes with the last release current? If not, can I get the current one?

Is it just me, or is the Module_Parties file totally buggered up? Have you been doing all the creation/moving of cities on the Map Editor (please god tell me you haven't)...?

Bugger. We'll have to fix that at some point or adding new factions will be a total pain in the ass... but it could take a long time.

The best way to do it is to get the co-ordinates from map editor then key those into module_parties.py.
As I say, I'll fix it sometime but it could be a while.

It converts parties txt to module_parties , it works great i have just used it and tested.
