After Napoleon came out i was really thinking and hoping that CA could make Rome 2 total war, or a third medieval since the second was great, though it was a small chance of that happening. Im not that excited about Shogun 2, but i will still watch games of it since my computer and many others wont be able to handle it.

What about their elephants? can the armored swordsmen kill them? and btw, if i stick myself in a castle wont their ele's just blast my walls? oh, and i heard that spikes or whatever u call those things that longbowmen lay in the ground cant kill ele's, i dont know it its true...

I have a problem...again. I havent played the game for a while but started again. I have 68 conrtolled regions with 42 turns left. I am england and i have a lot of the eastern european land and some russian. But now the timurids came and i see 6 of them in stacks together huddled attacking the mongols over and over, each time destroying them. They're really getting close and i really need help on how to destroy or at least defend from them. I dont really need to go attacking them but i need to know how to protect myself. Thanks.

ok. And btw, i was kinda thinking of letting em get it so that it doesnt take up too much time fighting them and so that i dont have soo many enemys against me. also so i have enough turns to get Jeruasilm.Do any of you know how long till the crusade gives up if i fight and dont lose?

but even if i move it back will the Crusade spot move to that diff castle? or stay at the same one it got called on?

Thanks for all the suggestions but i have a big problem with the navy idea. see, i moved my capitol about 2 turns before the crusade on a french castle, forgot the name, but its near spain. i still havent played anymore since the crusade started so thanks for all the suggestions! btw, should i assasinate the pope now, since he called the crusade?

I have only made 2 turns after the crusade was called on me so i havent seen any coming yet.

This is my first time playing a campaign and having a crusade called against me. I am England and i have 83 turns left and i just had a crusade called against my capital! i badly need to know what to do. i already started to fill up my capital with heavy infantry and stuff like that! i have 46 captured castles and towns. I already had 6 factions against me and now i have 8. Im not sure if i should just leave one troop in my captial and let them take it or try to hold out... please help! :'(

I got it about 4 months ago, and still love it out of all the TW games. Though im only on my second Campaign im getting good cause im using England. Whats your first campaign used in M2TW?
