Hello everyone,

Nolan here from Ars Tali Games! My mother, Sheryl Diane McClure-Pitler has just finished her book, Bumblestook: The Accidental Wizard - which will be in-time a series. She is a great writer and loving mother and is largely my inspiration for writing; Words, oddly enough, cannot convey my thankfulness of having a mother this caring and loving.

Please join me in supporting my mother in her work - it's an absolutely fun book to read and I'm sure all of you will enjoy it. Share this with your friends as well, as we know here at Ars Tali, starting out is never easy!

Thanks everyone,

Nolan

Hi Exilians!

We at Ars Tali Games may be opening a store on an Australian distributor site for T-shirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads and other sorts of memorabilia! Right now we're just hearing feedback from our followers but with this bit of income we will be able to help out our artists while affording more art as well! It's definitely something our whole team is excited about - but we'd love to hear more from you on the matter as well.

Thanks!

Ars Tali Games / Welcome to Ars Tali Games!

Welcome to Ars Tali Games! :gandalfgrey:

Our company is a proud affiliate/partner of Exilian and we hope to share with everyone here what our team is about along with what products we are currently working on. Ars Tali Games was founded by Isaac Williams and Nolan Pitler in January of 2015 in lieu of our development of "The World of Aker-Cosi" and the "LEGACY" mechanics, however our history is nearing five years of planning. In 2010, Isaac and I both came up with the idea to develop a world for Dungeons and Dragons where industry and magic had collided into two opposing factions - however we wanted to retain an independent concept away from steampunk. Cultures were formed and early classes were created however one of the major elements was the restriction of mechanics via the D20 system - to this extent we eventually would move towards D100 mechanics.

Most of our work on Aker-Cosi and LEGACY has been within the last eight months since we've founded the company, bringing lots of new faces to the team:

Art Team

Natalie Szymczak - Lead Artist

Natalie has been with us for seven months now, her contributions have been phenomenal - creating characters, logos, maps and largely building our website.

Daniel Squirrell - Environment Artist

Daniel is working on the environments of Aker-Cosi, developing landscapes, architecture, sigils and much more.

Elizabeth Muller - Character Artist

Our newest addition to the art team, Elizabeth has been helping produce characters and is currently working on Korrissian mercenaries.

Jess Leigh Stewart - Character Artist

Jess has been working on concept art for our world, in particular she has been helping us define the look and feel of several cultures - including the feared Rakan Mages and the peaceful trading WuiGui lake people.

Mechanics Team

Isaac Williams - Lead Game Designer/Writer

Co-owner of Ars Tali Games and Wizard. There shouldn't be much more to say, though he is a wonderful person and a brilliant scientist! (But seriously, his mechanics work is fantastic.)

Damon Kleinschafer - Game Designer/Writer

Damon has been with us since day one, he's helped define our mechanics system with Isaac and has contributed a considerable amount to our lore, including the creative and at times humorous, Grommlings.

Writing Team

Nolan Pitler - Lead Writer

Bit awkward to talk about myself but I'm the other Co-owner and Lead Writer, I produce the majority of the languages along with organising the cultures to ensure they flow correctly together.

Isaac Williams - Lead Game Designer/Writer

Damon Kleinschafer - Game Designer/Writer

Curtis Rauscher - Writer

Curtis has been helping with lore, largely focused around the Dhazud/Dwarves. In particular he is developing a northern clan who is known for their ferocity.

The Mad Twitter Hatter

Allison Renee - Mad Twitter Hatter

Allison is our resident Mad Twitter Hatter, she's been helping us keep our posts up-to-date and keep Twitter going, as we're all terrible at it.

Ars Tali Games / The World of Aker-Cosi
« on: July 24, 2015, 04:40:53 PM »
Hopefully this is the correct place to post this so here we go!

The World of Aker-Cosi is the first product by Ars Tali Games featuring our very own LEGACY mechanics, which is based on a D100 system. The focus of our world is to utilise storytelling into the development of characters while facilitating diverse skills and character creation. Our initial play-tests have proven that while the game is certainly more complex, it's easy for starting players while having extensive content and depth for veterans of the genre.

Aker-Cosi is a world of fantasy and adventure where magic and technology collide. Thematically focused on the rise of technology becoming accessible to the masses, Aker-Cosi creates an environment where players see not only a fully fleshed out world, but an ever changing one as well.
With new inventions, magical disturbances, political intrigue and the constant threat of war, players will be thrown into the middle of the chaotic and exciting world of Aker-Cosi.

There's a lot of content we're working on and Zac or I would be happy to answer any/all questions you may have. We'll do our best to run a few updates in here, as we update a few various places! :gandalfgrey:
