Hello, folks!

So I've heard through the grapevine that the event below needs people: traders, really. Are any of you wonderful people keen on WWI?

Date: 31st July 2016

Location: Clifton Park Museum, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK
Time: 11:00 - 16:00
Stall cost: £10

This is a family day out themed around WWI and the Battle of the Somme, which will include activities for kids and historical reenactment. There will also be a small market area which will include books, boardgames, and charity stalls.

Currently looking for:
* vintage sellers with WWI military theme (respectfully no weapons should be included: medals, buttons, patches and other memorabilia welcomed) or 1910s-1920s items;
* artists and sellers of handmade things related to WWI and the general era (upcycled goods, poppies, costumes etc.)

Give me a shout if you're interested!

Jenny

Thanks! Currently its mostly handmade cards, earrings and bits of papercraft. I try to keep it geeky (video games, science, steampunk, that sort of thing) but I've strayed a little recently.

Hi everyone!

My name is Jenny, and a few of you may know me as Flamekebab's old lady. I finally decided to join you, seeing as I had a terrific time at Exilicon and I've met some really good people from here.

I'm an objects conservator by trade, working at a museum in Cambridge. (Need advice on how to take care of some old thing? I'm your gal.) When I'm not putting something old and rare back together you can find me making crafty things to sell on Etsy, or writing something that vaguely resembles literature. I'm an omnigeek and dabble in far too many things.

Nice to meet you all!
