The Last Airbender: Total War V0.83 Released!


Welcome to the release of the new version (v0.83). After the release of V0.80 I got many requests and feedback to add and change things like better balancing regarding the economy and public order. Aside from the need for balancing I have added many new things such as more heroes, mercenaries, new buildings and ancillaries. Now parts of Book 1 are also incorpirated into the main campaign in the form of roleplay with ancillaries and traits. Want to find Momo? or kill the moon with the great admiral Zhao? It is possible. In future releases this will be expanded on much further. Various other things have been changed as well to improve stability, tanks now work and have spinning wheels. The catapults have been removed as they are still bugged and will be replaced with new ones further down the road.

Installation:

Steam instal instruction:

This is a new release, delete the previous version if you have it installed!

1) double click the downloaded zip and extract the download to '...\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Alexander\alexander\'



2) open properties in steam

3)go to start up settings (not sure if it is the exact name in english version of steam) and add the line:

'-mod:alexander/avatar -show_err'



DISC instal instruction:

1) Extract the download to '...\Rome Total War\alexander\'

2) make a shortcut to the alx.exe

3) open properties of the shortcut with left clicking the shortcut

4) In the target line enter after what is already written:

-mod:alexander/avatar -show_err



There is now also an included bat file in the modfolder to make starting up the mod easier for those that prefer it that way!

known issue when your game crashes at start up after installation:

-You extracted it in the wrong way which means you get:

../rome total war/alexander/avatar_v0.83/avatar

or:

../rome total war/avatar

instead of:

../rome total war/alexander/avatar

The Future:
Recently Rome Total War Remastered has been announced, for now nothing is sure but I will try to port the mod and see if it is possible. If it is I will ofcourse release a new updated version for it.

The Last Airbender: Total War* [v0.90 RELEASED]



Introduction
9 months of hard work have culminated in the beta of the Last Airbender mod, when I started this mod it started as a challenge. At first I tried making a unit from scratch that was different from your standard Rome Total War unit. Then I learned mapping followed by the implementation and creation of even cooler things such as animations, custom settlements etc. I want to thank everyone who helped during the process of making this mod!

General Information
The beta is meant as a basis to further expand on whenever there is popular demand for certain things or whenever I feel like experimenting with things and add those to the mod as well.

The beta contains portraits and models of the 5 major heroes that make up the Gaang and in the campaign several other important characters as well. The campaign is set at the start of book water. Scripts to force the story more will be added in a later version. Aside from heroes the soldiers fro the show are also included, from Kyoshi warriors to rhino riders. There is also an additional campaign set after the Air Nomad genocide where you can command Sozin. The battle map has been completely redone with new settlements based on the show and as well as new environments. Unfortunately I could not find a way to successfully edit the shaders to give it the full ‘anime’ look but I have tried to make it look like it as much as the game allows me.

Installation and Download:

WARNING: 2 BUGS

Tanks may (but rarely) crash during a battle
Catapults crash often
Not really a bug but ramming the gate of the northern water tribe doesn't result in a hole, I want to make it so that you cannot ram it.
After many attempts I have been unsuccessful at resolving these 2 problem if anyone has a fix or other feedback and bug reports feel free to report them on my discord: https://discord.gg/pxXPzcc

Yeah I made the model myself, I also changed the models of all the other units you see. For example new attachment/weapons and body parts like heads for fauns.

Narnia Total War / Prince Caspian movie styled Units

Hello, the past few days I have been experimenting with textures more so I decided to make the awesome looking centaurs from narnia. I intend to eventually update the looks of units for all factions, but since I am working on another mod as my primary mod the progress will be slow though.
